Calling for a Revolution in Dance Curriculums

There is a big push in higher education to focus on  STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) training.  And there is big money available to develop those curriculum.  Many have suggested we change the acronym to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math), to incorporate more Liberal Arts into everyone's education.  Jennifer Edwards takes this one step further, calling for broadening the curriculum in BA, BFA and MFA dance programs to better prepare our dancers for their careers.  Here is a link to her powerful article.
